Dr. Imke Rajamani is a research fellow at the Center for the History of Emotions at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin. Her research interests include emotion concepts in Hindi and Telugu cinema, popular culture and political mobilization, and theories of intermediality. She was awarded the Otto-Hahn-Medal for her doctoral dissertation entitled “Angry Young Men: Masculinity, Citizenship and Virtuous Emotions in Indian Cinema”.
