Sarunas Paunksnis is an Associate Professor of Media Philosophy at Kaunas University of Technology in Kaunas, Lithuania. His main research areas include but are not limited to Indian cinema, postcolonial theory, globalization and cultural theory. He has recently edited and published a book titled Dislocating Globality: Deterritorialization, Difference and Resistance (Brill, 2016), and is currently writing a book on neoliberalism and Hindi cinema.
Dr. Runa Chakraborty is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Asian and Transcultural Studies, Vilnius University, Vilnius, Lithuania. Her research interests include Dalit and Indigenous Literatures, Women’s Writings, Postcolonial Studies, and Film Studies. She has published articles in Indian and international academic journals. She is also a creative writer and a translator.
